Battlefoam: PACK AIR Arrives!

My Battlefoam case arrived a few days ago! I went for the PACK AIR, a size designed to fit into the overhead storage compartments of most commercial airlines. For anyone who travels for work or vacation, this could be a good way to kill two birds with one stone: you get an army storage and transportation case as well as a suitcase for the price of one.

I went with the Custom Load Out option, getting 2 trays specifically cut for my army. I can carry three Vendettas, 5-6 Leman Russ or Chimera, 21 Heavy Weapon Teams in my custom trays. I also got four Universal Troop Trays for infantry, which amounts to 120 standard guardsmen plus 40 larger model guardsmen (standard bearers and the like).

This is the first real army transport case I've purchased. The price made it a difficult buy, but given my move to Indianapolis this month, and all the gaming I plan to do, I think this case was a worthwhile investment.

  1. I have a friend who flew to Texas from Switzerland twice with his PACK AIR. Once with Blood Angels, the next with two 50 point Warmachine armies. He's also flown around Europe with it. He loves it!

    1. Good to know. I plan on traveling for work with it. If anyone asks about the logo, I'll just explain how badass I am.

FYI: I've changed the url of my Blog to http://ig4tw.blogspot.com/

  2. Ooooh, shiny! I do a lot of travelling and save myself a bit of money by only buying the trays - about £5 each - then just putting them in the car, carefully stacked. Not ideal but keeps them safe enough while driving, and a whole lot cheaper.
